Warner Bros finally confirmed the official release date to be August 6, 2021. The production has stopped in February 2020 which began in September 2019. The suicide squad is all set to hit the display without any pause in the release date. Gunn said in an interview that, it was hard for him to film the last part of the movie with a heartfelt message.

On September 13, 2019, Gunn confirmed the complete cast team for the upcoming sequel of this movie. The Suicide Squad 2: Plot
Producer Peter Safran confirmed that it’s not a sequel, it’s “a reboot” hence, we expect a completely different storyline. But we can assume some questions to be answered, left behind in the first part. The storyline will mostly revolve around the Amada Waller mission from the first part. She dispatched her team on a mission and doubtful that her team will make out this mission alive or not.
