“The Supreme Voice of the Blues”: Chadwick Boseman’s last film gets an impressive trailer, starring Viola Davis

Hey Reader! Recently, Netflix has released the trailer of “The Supreme Voice of the Blues” and it is the last movie of Chadwick Boseman, who plays the role of Levee along with Ma Rainey, played by Viola Davis. 

When saw the trailer, it can be figured out that the movie revolves around the tension between them as blue singers while recording the disc.

RIP to Chadwick Boseman. He unexpectedly died from colon cancer at the age of 43. This movie is going to be his last movie.

Baseline

The story is set in Chicago in 1927, Ma Rainey who is known by her stage name as “The mother of blues” and Levee, a trumpet by profession who wants to grow himself on the songs of Ma Rainey. 

The Monday event, which was presented through the virtual way of video conference, was a full band show, having masks, along with the songs premiered in the movie by Branford Marsalis. The show is expected to get appeared on 18th December 2020. 

Davis was one of the prominent actors who won Oscar award for his performance in Frances” and Tony for the 2010 Broadway revival play who played the role of Diva and a model along with her aunt. 

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom was the first play by Wilson which was worded down in 1984. 

When talked something about Chadwick Boseman, he was the one who was better known as T’Challa. He was the winner of the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by Cast in a motion picture. 

Though Chadwick is not with us however, his last trailer will always be special and one of the memories for all the fans.
