The series got revived for a second season on August 10, 2021, following its success in the United States. The show’s creator, Mike White, had intended for the first season to be a six-part limited series.
It has yet to show the first season’s final episode, but it has already been greenlit for a second season. There is no announced release date for the new episodes at this time.
The second season would likely have a completely new cast, as it will follow a different group of holidaymakers than the first season.
Armond (Murray Bartlett) is the manager of the White Lotus resort in the first season of the show.
Characters such as Nicole Mossbacher, Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge), and Rachel are also included (Alexandra Daddario). In addition, Natalie Rothwell plays Belinda, the resort’s spa manager, while Jolene Purdy plays Lani, a trainee. Whether or whether any of the hotel workers will reprise their roles is unknown at this point.

Another group of tourists will stay at another White Lotus hotel in the second season, situated outside of Hawaii. As the guests settle in with the locals, the series should follow the same theme. Francesca Orsi, HBO Programming’s Executive Vice President, said: “As always, Mike has delivered a classic HBO show that’s all the rage in town.
“Upon hearing where he intended to go next, after finishing this great chapter in Hawaii, we couldn’t wait to continue following him wherever he takes us.”
Because the show’s fans expected it to be a limited series, they had mixed feelings about the renewal. However, anthology-style episodes are now more likely, and viewers have continued to voice their comments on the show.
