But this time as per some leaks, season 2 will be based on the Blood of Elves and Time of Contempt. The genre will stick again to the elements of Fantasy, Serial drama, Adventure and Action. The first season received generally favorable response from critics and audience for its genre depiction and acting for the characters.

PLOT WE MAY EXPECT
In the end of the Season 1, Yennefer with the help of the group of mages, tried to stop the Nilfgaardian army’s proactive attack in the North. Yennefer was successfully able to block the army but her true power left unknown even after the batlle. On the other side, Geralt is injured terribly and he is aided in the farm where he meets Ciri according to his destiny. There is not leak yet if season 2 will be continuing the storyline of season 1.
But we can expect, season 2 will have baseline of season 1 with lot more twist as the casts are confirmed to reprising their roles again. In the season 2, we can expect only as the story is said to be based slightly on the Blood of Elves and Time of Contempt. We are expecting the recent release of trailer any time soon that can certainly give us glimpse of thrills of battles and mystical things in the upcoming series.

RELEASE
The Witcher season 2 was said to be released in 17th August, 2020 but due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the series got delayed and said by some leaks to be released in the early 2021. So, fans please keep your patience well for a while.
