The Witcher is a creation of Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. The series is grounded on a book written by Andrzej Sapkowski on the same name.It is fictional story, inspired by the early time’s landmasses name the Continent. The story revolves around when the Witcher goes out in search of Geralt of Rivia and the princess Ciri, actually get linked to each other by destiny.

The story actually has three main leads that are exploring different points of time and formatting events that could sum up into one timeline. The first season was released on Netflix with a total of 8 episodes. It released on December 20, 2019. The story based on two short stories that were The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny.  The series was a super-duper hit. 

The star cast for season one was Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalotra. After the blockbuster hit of season one, they are all set to come up with, The Witch season 2 with that same fantasy and political monastery drama. It is one of the best series in the recent history of Netflix. There is no specific date of the release but the makers have told that it will be coming in 2021.


Due to the pandemic situation, the shooting was paused. Now it will be resuming from 17 august 2020. Netflix has revealed the full cast for season 2 how as there were the three main lead witches are there and with them, the new witches will be joining season 2. That means Lamber’s role done by Paul Bullion and Coen’s role done by Yasen Atour. In addition, it has expected that these will make us go through Kaer Morehen where the witches are been trained.

In addition, there were rumors by the Redanian Intelligence that third witch role, played by Joel Adrian. Moreover, talking of the main three witches of season 1 will go further in the same timeline only. Moreover, the new witches’ story is in other short stories.
