Netflix has already announced the distribution of rights back on 3rd August 2020. The previous release date for the movie was 4th October 2020 but due to some changes after test screenings by Walt Disney, it got delayed. The latest update for the release date is that the movie will hit the big screens on 14th May 2021. The film has witnessed a lot of delays because of the pandemic and when Netflix decided to talk with 20th Century Studios, the rights were distributed and the release date was officially announced.
