It is suggested that the annual time hundred list of the world’s most influential people was brought about by the ABC in partnership with time.
On a very exciting note, the viewers got an inside look of the leaders, creators, and everyday heroes who comprised their name on the TIME 2020 list.
The announcement was done along with a musical performance, a history of the iconic time hundred list and the recap of the biggest stories of 2020, and a tribute and appearance from TIME 100 alumni.
According to the names suggested by the Dun Macsai, time executive editor, the alumni appearance included personalities like Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry, and Meghan, Kumail Nanjiani, John Legend, Sandra oh, and Trevor Noah.
In this hard time of the pandemic, an effort was put up to honor all the healthcare workers who have served one and all.
Macsai also suggested that the time hundred list included the names of doctors, nurses, health officials, and scientists in a dramatic way than ever before.
The broadcast was live on TIME.com on Tuesday 22nd September along with the broadcast debuted on ABC
Macsai said, “We really do think of it as the time 200 because all hundred people are profile by other interesting and influential people”.
