To All The Boys is a Netflix adolescent comedy-drama film franchise based on Jenny Han’s trilogy of novels. It all starts when Lana Condor’s sister Kitty (played by Anna Cathcart) decides to join involved and send out her secret love letters to the males she has a crush on. Now it’s Kitty’s turn to take centre stage, since the next spin-off series will concentrate around her.
What’s the release date? And Who will be casting?
Season one of Netflix’s XO, Kitty will premiere in the early hours of Tuesday, October 19. The streaming service has ordered ten episodes of the show, making To All the Boys the first Netflix original film to get its own series. Unfortunately, no release date has been announced as of yet because the project is still in its early stages.
Of course, Anna Cathcart will reprise her role as Kitty Song Covey in XO, Kitty. She previously appeared as Agent Olympia in PBS’ Odd Squad and in the second and third installments of Disney Channel’s Descendants, Spin, and ABC’s Once Upon a Time.
She also lends her voice to the upcoming Disney+ series Star Wards: Visions. Her co-stars have yet to be confirmed, although To All the Boys stars such as actress Condor and actor John Corbett are sure to appear at some point.
What’s the plotline?
So yet, very little information about XO, Kitty has been disclosed. Netflix, on the other hand, has issued a quick teaser synopsis to provide users with an idea of what is to come.
“Adolescent matchmaker Kitty Song Covey feels she knows everything there is to know about love in XO, Kitty.” “However, when she travels halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll quickly realise that relationships are far more complicated when your heart is at stake.”
