In all fairness, when quarantining, the only tool required to enhance any Netflix experience is a big old bowl of popcorn (or any snack of your preference). But we get it. If we ate the entire time we binged, that’s 12 hours of eating and massive food poisoning.
However, in this race of streaming giants, Netflix is a mile ahead. Since COVID-19 outbreak, there has been an immense surge in binge-watching but Netflix has a fix for all your ‘What next?’ queries. Find out all the tools in-store that will surely enhance your Netflix experience:
Netflix Random:
Soon to launch a new feature, Netflix Random, the update will randomly play a movie or TV show according to the concerning genre. This will save viewers a lot of time who are indecisive and are likely to spend a lot of time looking for their next content. This could also be a bane to other viewers who are particular about their To-Watch list.
Netflix Subtitles:
Just like the VLC media player that lets viewers select appropriate subtitles among a variety of subtitle choices, Netflix too is soon to launch a Chrome extension that will allow viewers to find a set of subtitles that are not offered by the default app. Viewers can now use this to select among an array of subtitles the appropriate one for their films and shows.
Netflix Bitrates:
The lack of an inbuilt bitrate option often has led to users facing a lag on their devices whilst watching. To minimize this lag, the network will soon make Netflix Bitrate available which will offer viewers to choose between the preferred bitrates. Although the news can be great for many, not much can be said until its implementation.
