 A senior White House official stated that Trump is preparing to eliminate Wray from his post if the president beats Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the presidential election next week. Another senior management official shared that Wray is likely to be gone after the election.

The official also expressed that defense Secretary Mark Esper could be on the track out. However, the official told that it is not clear if he will give up. Or even if the president will eliminate him.

Meanwhile, a senior FBI official shared with media that Wray is broadly considered a famous leader within the bureau. Among law enforcement groups across the country. However, he is keeping his head down and focusing on the track of the FBI. 

The FBI director’s term commonly runs for a decade. It means that Wray apparently still has just under seven years before his decade at the head of the bureau is up.
