The most awaited American superhero web series is going to be aired in less than a month from now. It has a viewership of 45 million audiences in its 1st month of release and hence because of its high popularity season 2 is going to be aired soon. After looking at the amazing posters, fans are already excited.
The Umbrella Academy is a series based on a comic book by the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba. The series is developed by Jeremy Slater who is also a writer for the Moon Knight. The 1st season was released on Netflix on 15th February 2019. In the same month, the series was renewed for 2nd season which is all set to release on 31st July 2020. The series was ranked 3rd during the year 2019 on Netflix.
Storyline:
On 1st October 1989, a billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopted 7 children with extraordinary superpowers and created a superhero team by the name “The Umbrella Academy”. He named his children as numbers instead of any specific name. Since childhood, they were trained to fight crimes, but later due to some uneventful things they ended up choosing different paths. After the death of Sir Reginald Hargreeves, all super-siblings have united to find out the truth behind his mysterious disappearance and the motive they were named as some NUMBERS.

No. 4: Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves (The Séance, who can communicate with a ghosts)
No. 5: Aidan Gallagher as The Boy (a boy who can travel time-space and did not grow up ever)
No. 6: Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves (The Horror, who has a horrible ability to kill people. He was a ghost in the whole season but came to life in the last episode of season 1)
No. 7: Ellen Page as Vanya Hargreeves (The White Violin, Initially known for not having any powers, but after realising her powers, she can convert sound waves into a destructive brutal force)
The plot of season 2:
The 1st season was left on a cliff-hanger where Vanya unleased her supernatural power and destroyed Moon resulting in raining asteroids on Earth.
No. 5 had already warned his super-siblings many a times about this apocalypse, hence to save everyone, he uses his powers to transport his super-siblings to the past in 1960 in Dallas. Where they are going to uncover the mystery of their father’s untimely death and search of clues to save the world from Apocalypse.
