The Umbrella Academy is an American Web television series. The series is based on an amazing creation of Dark Horse Comics which is a storyline of superheroes which is created for Netflix, developed by Jeremy Slater. The series brings up the black comedy, drama, and a science fiction movie.

The story is about a dysfunctional family, of adopted siblings superheroes, they reunite to solve the mystery of their father’s death. The series is produced by Borderline Entertainment, Dark Horse Entertainment, and Universal Cable Productions. The production was started in 2011, but it, later on, shifted to producing it in series and was officially greenlit in 2017 and finally launched in 2019 on Netflix.
