In addition to that, the new film can also be taken as an anniversary project as the gap between the original and the new sequel is 25 years long. Space Jam 2: A New Legacy will start off with LeBron James and his young son Dom (Cedric James) who would be seen in misery as they have been trapped inside a rogue artificial intelligence.

James then decides to stand up against the AI’s digital champions by teaming up with Bugs Bunny and the other members involved in the Looney Tunes. The team features power as it consists of some of the most powered-up NBA stars from Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, to Chris Paul.

Additionally, according to reports, fans will also get to witness glimpses of a few WNBA stars such as Nneka Ogwumike, Diana Taurasi, and Chiney Ogwumike. James’ on-screen wife’s role will be played by Sonequa Martin-Green who is popular for her role in Star Trek: Discovery.
