Abiru Takahiko, the anime series’ character designer, also tweeted about an update on Vinland Saga 2. He wrote that he needed to continue working on Attack on Titan while also focusing on The Ancient Magus Bride.
He then went on to say, “But there is one task in particular that I must complete. You are aware of my most critical job. Today I plough fields once more “.. Apart from these two tweets, the creators have yet to issue an official statement. Fans will have to wait for confirmation for a little longer.
‘What Is The Story Of Vinland Saga?’
The story of this historical anime revolves around Thors Snorresson, a Viking lord who had forfeited a war in order to return to his family and live in peace.
He is visited by Floki, who invites him to travel to Vinland, a faraway land. Floki’s main objective, however, is to destroy Thors in order for him to punish him for leaving the war in the middle. Thorfinn, Thor’s son, sneaks onto the ship without his father’s knowledge and sets out on an adventure.
However, they are targeted in the middle of their journey by a group of mercenaries hired by Floki to assassinate Thors. Thors fights valiantly, but when his son is kidnapped, he surrenders. Thors is finally killed, and Thorfinn swears to avenge his death by joining the same mercenary party that killed him.
