Plot

The storyline of the show centers around a detached and a courageous woman named Violet. She decides to become a soldier when she grows up. After returning from the war, she becomes a professional ghost-writer. The reason behind her changing her profession is that she receives a prosthetic arm after an injury at the war. 

She tries to regain her purpose in life while trying to decipher her dying Major’s last words. Later, the series reveals that her name in her youth days was Velvet, and her parents had abandoned her for some personal reasons. The upcoming season of Violet Evergarden will tie the loose ends, and pick up from where it was concluded.

The creators haven’t disclosed the storyline of Violet Evergarden season 2 because they want the fans to enjoy a first-hand experience. This emotional anime is based on the manga which has the same name. The story of the series is so beautiful that it will make you cry. If you haven’t watched the series then, you can watch Violet Evergarden season 1 on Netflix in English Dub. Moreover, the first season contains thirteen episodes.

There are some speculations that the second season of Violet Evergarden will continue with the manga storyline. Fans might also see a deeper romance between Violet and Gilbert.
