Violet Evergarden Season 2 is the upcoming sequel to the Japanese series named Violet Evergarden where it is based on the same name which is written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase. The genre will stick again to the coming-of-age elements. The first installment received favourable reviews from the critics and audience for its illustrations where it scored 8.4/10 ratings on IMDb and 8.6/10 ratings on myanimelist. The first installment also won the award for Best Animation Series in 2019. Because of the audience eagerness for a sequel, the creator has to renew the season 2. PLOT WE MAY EXPECT
Fans will sure see the start of Season 2 where the season 1 was ended. In the end of the season 1, we saw that Violet strive to save the train where the rebels planned to explode the bridge as the she wanted to confess the words “I love you” through her own written letter. But she receives a new ghostwriting letter. In the season 2, we might see that Violet will continue her work in writings and find a new journey of thrills as there are many possibilities of Gilbert to be alive. We can’t further expect the storyline as there is no official trailer is released and leaks are also not available plenty enough.
CAST
The main protagonist will sure be Violet Evergarden. The rest of the main characters will sure reprise their roles which are Cattleya Baudelaire, Benedict Blue and Erica Brown. There are many chances of new characters to take their entry as supporting and recurring roles where old characters may or may not make their entry or cameo. But new entries will sure add a better taste to cross the expectations of the fans.
RELEASE
Violet Evergarden Season 2 initially was meant to be released on 10th January, 2020 but delayed to 4th April, 2020 but as usual delayed again due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the sources and leaks show that the season 2 will able to be released in 8th September, 2020. So the fans have to hold on their curious excitement for some months.
