The show first premiered on Netflix on December 6, 2019, and was an instant success. So much so that it was renewed just 2 weeks after the release. So when can we expect a season 2? Let’s find out.
The show is a Romantic Drama based on the novel series with the same name by Robyn Carr. The show is about Melinda “Mel” Monroe who takes a job as a midwife and nurse practitioner in Virgin River a remote town in California. The show was well received and was renewed 2 weeks after the premiere of the 1st season.
There haven’t been any official announcements from Netflix about when the 2nd season will premiere but it was believed that it would be somewhere in the late 2020s however that seems unlikely now after the COVID-19 Pandemic.
