The entertainment industry suffered a lot due to the coronavirus pandemic as movie filming ceased all over the world. The DC comics’ most awaited film ‘The Batman’ was also delayed. The filming began in January 2020 but was ceased during the pandemic. DC Comics movies are big commercial movies and it was difficult to complete the shooting in the pre-corona time.
As soon as the trailer dropped out, it broke the internet, and fans went all gaga about the trailer as it was much awaited. But their happiness was short-lived when it was announced that the movie’s release was going to be delayed further.
What and how all these happened?
Robert Pattison tested positive for COVID-19 which led to a halt in filming and, as the general guidelines, the stuntman and his team were isolated for 10 days. They have been isolated and their regular testing is done. It is a big reason for the setback which is causing an unusual delay in its release.
It was difficult to complete the shooting and wrap up the film back in 2020 but it is even more challenging with the current COVID-19 threat for The Batman team. It is really hard to maintain social distancing and take all the precautions while conducting the shoot.
Robert Pattinson tested positive earlier as well, which was the prime reason behind the delayed shooting. Sun’s reports claim that The Batman is still on its wrap-up schedule and it is set to release on March 4, 2022.
Fans need to wait a little longer for the official announcement about the release of the movie by the makers. Since the trailer is out the movie might come on the big screens by the end of 2021 but, we need to wait until everything is confirmed. Stay tuned with us and follow the space for more updates.
