The first 2 “Kung Fu Panda” movies hit Netflix on July 1. Animation enthusiasts had a treat. The combination of snack-loving comedy that has been picked from the arts, one Po the panda, are delightful films that attract young and old spectators. However, the point is that “Kung Fu Panda” is a trilogy, and only the two first ones are available on Netflix, which allows people to speculate if and when the third film will be streamed. Unfortunately, the short answer is “We have no idea” for fans — and parents whose kids demand that they watch the next movie. But a little more hopeful is the long answer.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” is not mentioned in the listings for the news about Netflix in July 2021. Netflix did not formally comment on if and when “Kung Fu Panda 3” is available, but streaming service personnel do not usually reply to issues such as that. While the first two Kung Fu Panda movies are on Netflix, we don’t know why, but when splits such as this occur, it is frequently related to licencing negotiations that even people who make them must be puzzling.

So the bad news is that the MIA for Netflix is “Kung Fu Panda 3.” It may or may not appear one day. The good news is that there are other means of watching the film on various streamings; other films such as “Kung Fu Panda” on Netflix; and some of “Kung Fu Panda” properties are available on Netflix.

“Kung Fu Panda 3,” the legendary Po Ping, the enormous panda who happens to be the Dragon Warrior, continued in 2016. “Kung fu Panda 3” Po must defend his friends and village from Kai, a guerrilla yak from the spiritual realm who wants to steal the last power from all. Po needs to rely on what his original father Li Shan and his adoptive father, Mr Ping, had learned to stop Kai.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” is not available for streaming on Netflix or any other subscription but may be rented or purchased on Amazon, YouTube, Vudu, and Apple TV.

And while the third film is not on Netflix, there is a trio of shorts from “Kung Fu Panda.” The short films are part of the films, and they are all on Netflix. The first two, “Furious Five Secrets” and “Master Secrets”, are combined as “Kung Fu Panda: Awesome Secrets Collection;” the third film, “Secrets of the Scroll,” is all by itself.

And lastly, if you want to adhere to Netflix, there are movies there that are like “Kung Fu Panda,” in particular “Madagascar” and its “All Hail King Julien” series. “Madagascar” is another speaking-animal DreamWorks franchise. There is also the original Netflix “Over the Moon,” more accurate in Chinese mythology.
