Why Hulk Could Be a Future Avengers Villain

Hulk entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008 with his own film, “The Incredible Hulk”, played by Edward Norton. The film was fairly received and Hulk got a lot of fans. In the Avengers series, he was brought back, played by Mark Ruffalo.

In the Avengers Infinity War (2018) we saw how Hulk was traumatised by seeing Thanos and wouldn’t come out during the battle in Wakanda. In Avengers Endgame (2019), he was back and was vital in the completion of the whole mission. He was the one who was willing to sacrifice himself by wielding the Infinity Gauntlet (you can rewatch the scene here-

Why would Hulk turn evil?

The answer lies in Hulk’s heroism in the Endgame as well. By the end of the movie, we saw how Bruce Banner became integrated with Hulk as a result of doing the snap. That led to the formation of Professor Hulk, the large green Bruce Banner. 

This is also the exact reason why he is a threat. We all know how powerful Hulk is physically. Imagine giving him the intelligence of Bruce Banner now. That would be disastrous. But that is exactly what is supposed to be happening according to the comics. This new version of Hulk is called “Maestro”.

Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by words. The idea of stringing words together to form meaningful sentences which could alter the emotions of other human beings excited me.
