This is for all mystery lovers and Sherlock Holmes fans who want the secrets to being revealed about the deleted scenes from the series.
We already know about the world-famous novel series Sherlock Holmes written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Inspired by the book, in 2010 Benedict Cumberbatch formed a TV series with a total of four seasons. The series is quite popular and has international admirers.
Below we have discussed some details about the scenes deleted by BBC due to unknown reasons.
The Blind Banker (EP2, S1)
This episode follows Sherlock Holmes and John Watson as they investigate a case of Chinese smugglers. Two scenes were deleted from the episode before its release.
- This is removed scene just before the scene when John is moving around the supermarket with the checkout machine. In this scene, Van Coon got off the taxicab on his way back home and immediately ran into his building’s elevator. Then he locks the door, finds his SIG-Sauer P226 in the kitchen, and then gets into his bedroom, blocking the door with a chair.
- After Sherlock gets the jade hairpin from Coon’s secretary, he and John return it to the museum to the museum’s director. The hairpin was attached to the Empress Wu mannequin.
The Sign of the Three (EP2, S3)
Sherlock was at John and Mary’s wedding reception and was struggling to give his speech. He talked about mysteries etc.
The excluded scene: There was a guy club scene as disclosed by Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch at an event.
The Sex Thatchers (EP1, S4)
In this episode, Sherlock waits for the moment when Moriarty makes his posthumous moves.
The excluded scene: Amanda Abbington tells about the dinner scene that happened at John and Mary’s place where Mary got impulsive and told that she was feeling uncontrolled of herself and John, or maybe she thinks that she is not grounded. Amanda says that this caused John to cheat on his wife.
