ITV announced that another year was the Love Island winter series axed.
The truth is that in January 2020, South Africa’s first winter spin-off took place. While this year, due to the pandemic’s impact on international travel, it did not return sooner, there were expectations of a return in 2022.

But now, the broadcaster has announced that it is not currently planning to produce the winter edition.

“We are currently focusing on the forthcoming summer series,” said one of their spokesperson.

When it comes to this summer series, which has not been on the show since 2019, this year is already on the way back, although the air date has not yet arrived.
In the whisper, it will occur as usually in Mallorca instead of in Jersey, which was previously rumoured, ITV maintains its plans for the broadcast.

Yet Laura Whitmore – narrator Iain Stirling – should have spent more time with hosting Love Island, possibly after the couple announced their baby girl’s birth last week.
“Thanks for all the kind messages at this time. We are in love,” said Laura after she shared the picture of herself holding the newborn baby in a papoose.

Lorraine Kelly was quite embarrassed earlier last month when she revealed Laura’s sex while the TV presenter was interviewing her latest book.
