Netflix is rolling off with bringing back their hit shows and franchises. When the whole world was just getting started with the pandemic in 2020, Netflix was on the wheels to take us on a ride of several shows like Tiger King, Umbrella Academy Season-2, Bridgeton and many more big hits, even when their production schedules halted at times. In terms of franchises which are looked forward to by many fans ‘YOU’ is definitely on the higher rank. This American psychological thriller suspense shocked many viewers in season-2 with a hell lot of twists and plots and obviously as the bars were set higher in the previous season, this season will be even more intense.
Netflix announced on January 14th, 2020 the return of season-3 with 10 episodes in it. This season was supposed to premiere in 2021 although a definitive date hasn’t been set yet. Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti were introduced in the second season as Joe and Love are confirmed to reprise their roles in season three. Sara Gamble is returning back as co-creator and showrunner along with Greg Berlanti as executive producer.
As for the dynamic love between Joe and Love in season-3, Gamble revealed on a podcast that Joe has a baby on the way and Love has moved from the perfect girl that he’s trying to win to the real girl who is maybe not exactly what he has anticipated. And definitely it will be an understatement that with all the new phases in their lives, new faces will also be revealed. If you’re getting the idea as to how things might go down with this show then Be Careful! Because everything you read might not turn out on the screen. After all, we’re talking about ‘YOU’ here!
