Finally, the wait for the fans of High School Dxd Season 5 is going to end after two years. The anime is making its homecoming with a fifth season.
This announcement has put a full stop on the rumors declaring the end of the show. Although there is no official announcement regarding the premiere of the show it is expected to be released by early 2021.

High School Dxd is an anime based on the arcade comic written by IchiIshibumi and Miyama Zero. The TV version of the show was directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa. As a show, it was firstly broadcasted on January 6th, 2012 and as soon it gets released it reserved a special place in heart of the viewer. It is one of the best examples of the conversion of a comic to a show.
The Base of The Show
The show is all about Angels and The Devils. The series covers a high school student named Issei Hyodo who was murdered as an Angel by his beloved.
Just as it seems the end of Issei, A Devil named Rias Gremory resuscitated him and he turned to be a Devil. Since Rias revived him, he had to follow her and is serving her as a trustworthy worker.
As the season three-faced a huge disappointment from the fans after not including it in Manga, the upcoming season is going to stick with the storyline of Volume 11 and 12 of the Manga.
Season four introduced the “Hero Oppai Dragon” which has been a part of volume 9 and 10. Thus there is a strong possibility that season five will stick to manga.
Moreover, fans are hoping they will see more of the white dragon emperor and the big red.
The expected cast for the upcoming season of High School DXD
As of now, there are no changes in the cast of High School Dxd season five, and it will remain the same as we used to see.
The cast members include Ayana Taketaksu as KonekoToujou, Yuki Kaji as Issei Hyodo, Shizuka Ito as AkenoHimejima, Yoko Hikasa as Rias Gremory, and Azumi Asakura as Asia Argento.
