Yvonnne Strahovski, 38, is an Australian actress best known for playing CIA agent Sarah Walker in the 2007 comedy spy series “Chuck,” which she co-created with Zachary Levi. Her next major role was as Hannah McKay, the title character’s love interest, in the seventh and eighth seasons of the crime drama “Dexter.” Over the course of 17 years, Strahovski matured as an actress, taking on a variety of roles that showcased her range while also allowing her to change.

When asked how she started her performance at a NerdHQ event, she said, ‘I was like the Goophy child with braces and bad skin, and when I was little, I was really lanky and always waved in front of my home video cameras.’ She has clearly come a long way since then.

After “Chuck” was cancelled in 2012, Yvonne Strahovski was cast in another popular series. In the seventh season of “Dexter,” she made her Showtime debut as Hannah McKay, transitioning from CIA agent to serial assassin. She was sent to juvenile detention at the age of 15 after her boyfriend was arrested for a killing spree. She later poisoned her husband and it was discovered that she also murdered others. Dexter, who had planned to kill her, is unable to carry out his plan, and the two become romantically involved. Hannah was eventually arrested, but Dexter kept this a secret in order to escape and meet him in the previous season.

‘The Tomorrow War’ is Strahvoski’s latest project

Strahovski will co-star in “The Tomorrow War” with Chris Pratt in his next project. According to EW, she will play a brilliant scientist who is recruited for 30 years by time travellers to assist them in combating extraterrestrial invaders. J.K. Simmons, the award’s winner, will also release the film on Amazon Prime Video on July 2, 2021.
