Netflix confirmed on Wednesday, June 8, that the second season of Imtiaz Ali’s crime drama “She” will premiere on June 17.
Aaditi Pohankar plays Bhumika, a Mumbai police officer who goes undercover to expose a drug trafficking network in Bhumika. The second installment’s release date was announced on Netflix India’s official Twitter account

According to a Netflix press release, Bhumika is a dynamic new character. Kishore Kumar G and Vishwas Kini reprise their roles as drug lord Nayak and Bhumi’s older brother Fernandez in this installment.
“When it comes to SHE, she’s always torn between duty and desire, and she’s always dealing with the pressures of work, family, and buried secrets,” according to the official summary. Season 2 continues Bhumi’s journey of self-discovery by delving into themes of sexual awakening and dualism.

It is directed by Arif Ali and produced by Window Seat Films and Viacom18 Studios’ Tipping Point. The first season of “She’s” premiered on Netflix in March 2020.
